I thought that they were going with the .338 Lapua round?
I also thought that they didn't like semi automatics because it would throw the brass? |

Reply with quote | #3 | Well you have to remember too that it's an Army report. I just thought it would be a good peace of gear to review. I always though that the Remington 700 was a good sniper rifle. I just saw one on sale at Wal-mart two weeks ago for about $395.00. Of course I wanted to buy it, but then I remember I don't even hunt!

I'm sure the bolt will keep its place in the sniper community. This rifle looks like a viable alternative in the current tactical situation. I don't think they care too much if brass is thrown. Al Qaeda knows we are there. I'm not sniper trained, so its just a thought. |
