Senior DI, Ssgt R. Sanchez USMC, Edson Range 1977 Yes Sir! Lima Company 3RD Recruit Training Battalion, MCRD San Diego CA., 1976-1978. I'm still teaching drill, only these days it's as the Training Officer for the River Valley Young Marines in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Of course at my age my knees get a little tired as I crouch down to eye level on those eight year old's and tell them, No! your other left! Young Marine, Your other left! LOL!

Just stopped by to say Hello!!!
It's been crazy with the Young Marines Program this month. A three day boot camp last weekend, traning this Saturday and a Flag Retirement Ceremony on Sunday at the VVA.
Anyway had to let all you Jarheads and Corpsman that Gunny has not forgotten you!

Damn Monsoons ... 
Been raining here the last three days and we have three (and possibly more) of it to go yet according to the forecast.
Keep the ponchos close by and make sure the rubber rafts have no leaks ...

It's been raining out here where I'm at for the last four days and this morning it's pouring again. We've had some flooding in Oklahoma but not here. Hope everyone else is staying dry!

I just got home.Been working in Md for the last week.Thanks for sending all that rain north.LOL.it was misserable the whole time.probably for the best,it forced me to work the whole time.
